Meet Viviane Hens, MA, LPC
With over 20 years of experience and a deep passion for body-centered therapies, I help individuals navigate the complex journey of healing. My path began in Belgium and led me through Brazil before settling in Atlanta, giving me a unique ‘ex-pat’ perspective on life’s challenges. I believe that traditional talk therapy is only one part of the puzzle. By integrating the body through techniques like TRE® and Bioenergetics, we can release stored tension and return to a state of genuine vitality and presence.
These are orientations I have come to deeply inhabit, through years of my own somatic work, professional training, and the quiet privilege of sitting with clients as they find their way back to themselves. I believe the body holds what the mind cannot always process. Not as a metaphor, but as something I witness every week: a person takes a breath they have not taken in years, or feels their feet on the ground for the first time, and something genuinely shifts. That is the work. Not fixing, not managing but restoring the body’s capacity to feel safe, alive, and whole.

Mind-Body Integration
True healing asks us to listen beyond words. My commitment is to meet you as a whole person; honoring how your life experiences, your losses, your cultural history, and your nervous system’s patterns have shaped the way you move through the world. We work together with mind, body, and the space between them.
A Safe, Grounded Space
The nervous system cannot do its deepest work without safety. I hold sessions with care, attentiveness, and a genuine investment in your pace. Whether in person at my Buckhead office or online, the space we create together is one where your body and mind can begin to trust the process of letting go.
Practical Tools for Daily Life
Therapy should empower you outside the office. My goal is to equip you with tangible somatic tools, such as TRE® and grounding exercises, that you can confidently use to regulate your own stress in everyday life.
